Office Visits

Complimentary Exam

What To Expect

•The Initial Examination appointment will take approximately 40 minutes and is performed at no cost
•At the first visit, we will perform a thorough orthodontic examination as well as take photos and x-rays that will assist Dr. Wood in making a diagnosis.
•We request that the financially responsible person be present for this appointment so decisions regarding treatment can be made.

Treatment Plan Presentation

We will discuss the following:
1.   If orthodontic treatment is necessary.
2.   The best treatment options for your situation.
3.   The estimated length of treatment time.
4.   The best time to begin treatment.
5.   The cost of treatment/financial arrangements.

If you have dental insurance, please check with your employer or your insurance company to obtain details regarding orthodontic benefits.  Please bring a current dental insurance card with you to your appointment so that we may estimate insurance benefits for you.

Please complete the new patient forms by clicking the link on the right side of this page.  The forms will be automatically emailed to our office after submission.

Regular Appointments

After the Exam, we'll be ready to schedule the appointment to get the new appliances placed. Getting appliances placed usually takes about an hour. You'll then see us at regular intervals from four to eight weeks apart for an adjustment, which takes about 30 minutes.

Patients are seen by appointment only. We make every effort to be on time for our patients and ask that you extend the same courtesy to us. If you cannot keep an appointment, please notify us immediately.
